Oxbow6 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Woof...........that was a mess start to finish. Quote
Popular Post UNDhoops Posted February 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2019 Jones should be fired immediately for not fouling when NDSU had the ball up 4 inside a minute, and then for taking a two instead of a three on the next possession, especially drawing one up for Seales who you know is going to take a terrible long two if it is there for him 6 Quote
SIOUX29 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Stewart? Jones has to go. Same old same old, turnovers. Always. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 NDSU 74 UND 70 Final DEATH BY 1-3-1 ZONE This team is not making it to Sioux Falls.... Quote

darell1976 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Getting swept by NDSU should be the nail in the coffin on Jones’ coaching career at UND. Chaves needs to replace him after the season. This sh&t show of a program needs new leadership. 2 Quote
choyt3 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 But he kept it within the stated trigger margin, according to the #gobc Quote
UND1983 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 All you need to know about the state of UND basketball: awful, boring atmosphere for the first Summit League home game vs NDSU. Nobody cares anymore. 2 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 They could realistically lose the rest of their games this year. Only winnable ones left are ORU and DU at home. Quote
Kab Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 No assistant coach capable of taking over either Quote

Nobody cares anymore. That’s because everyone knows what will happen. UND will have the lead a bit. Then they will meltdown and the other team (NDSU in this case) will take the lead. Then UND will make a comeback and lose in the dying seconds. Thus creating another heartbreaking loss. It’s pretty stock UND basketball story the past few years. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 First year in the Summit, WOW. After finishing our last Big Sky season, we should of had a better team than SU. AND, we lose twice to them? Those last few minutes of these Jones' games are a gut punch. This one hurt so bad, dam near puked. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 @ SDSU ORU DU @ Fort Wayne @ USD Tell me how many they win Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Awful coaching last night. Fire Jones. Fire Jones. FIRE Jones. And then hire a young coach with great potential. Man I hate those ***** from Fargo... Quote
UND1983 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Two terrible basketball teams going at it. Somebody had to lose. Per usual, it's our terrible team. 3 Quote
gfhockey Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Jones has one more year. He’s a tourney time coac Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I can still feel the gut punch from last night. Quote
TheFlop Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Watched the team for the first time last night (TV of course, not paying $25 for that product). The 4th quarter offense is basically one big And-1 game with either Seales or Stewart barreling down the lane hoping for contact with an occasional Moody 3 point attempt mixed in. Now that I've seen what I haven't been missing it will probably be another couple years before I tune in again. Quote
jdub27 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 NDSU - 8/20 UND - 3/14 Three point shooting was the difference between two not very good teams. The only bright side? Hopefully it buys Richman a few more years down in Fargo. Quote
GoHawks Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Went to the game last night. First game this year and usually follow the team and attend at least 5 or so a year. JONES is the reason I don't really go anymore. Don't understand how he is still the head coach??? 2 Quote
