farce poobah Posted November 9, 2018 Share Posted November 9, 2018 The thing I don't get about Chicago firing Quenneville ... what did they learn in the first 15 games of the season that they didn't learn during his first 1000 games behind the bench? Leadership could have talked him into it during the long summer, and messaging about how he was looking for some time on the beach after working for so long... and the team would have benefitted from new coach and approach during training camp. This seems like a leadership screw up. (And yeah they can straighten their tie in the reflection of 3 Stanley Cups in their offices, but still ...)
