gundy1124 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Historically you don't see drops like that, but we got spanked. Quote

UND1981 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 We have a lot of injury issues at ILB and OL. We can still have a playoff year but need to get healthier and win BS conference games. Quote

We could have an all injury line-up that's better than the team on the field at this rate. Quote

AJS Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Good news is UND is still in the drivers seat, being ranked #19 right now, I think 7-4 gets them into the playoffs. Preseason polls matter A LOT in Football, as it makes it much easier on teams ranked higher to begin the season. Obviously you still have to win games, but UND isn't in a bad spot right now. You won't drop with a win, so who cares about style points, just win! Quote

IF we win out....we could probably get back to top 10. But I think a first round bye is basically out of the question at this point even if we win out unless USD is a top 4 seed or something, and even then things would have to play out perfectly for that to happen. It's going to take some time work to get rid of that butt whooping we just got. Right now however I am just taking it game by game....we've got a long ways to go, feels similar to last year after our first two games. Quote
zonadub Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 With a bye the last week of the regular season, maybe it's not good to have a first round bye in the playoffs. Maybe it's better to host a first round playoff game. 2 Quote

darell1976 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Not a bad place after our 3 win season and a win against a low grade FCS team. If we can play Washington close maybe we move up, get destroyed and we drop further, but I believe the SHSU game means more to the pollsters than a top rated FBS team. 1 Quote
