If my memory correct, some might opt out, or did so in the past? How many of these conferences don't have a team in the top 24 teams of the STATS Top 25? That ranking would have UND as the top team in eleven FCS conferences: Southland, Atlantic Sun, Southern, Ivy, Ohio Valley, BIg South, Patriot, SWAC, Northeast, MidEast, Pioneer Not the MVFC (seventh), Big Sky (fifth), Colonial (third), or WAC(second). It'd make UND 6-5, on a three-game win streak, have only lost to higher ranked opponents, and still likely on the outside looking in. All that said ... Control what's yours to control.
