Well she should be able to bring it in for a hockey team to nowhere. And we wonder why our taxes go up!

I get it, football has a ton more potential than women's hockey but I was still surprised by that number If you want to use that accounting method for football, then you can add some more debt to the women's hockey deficit as well...Pushing it closer to 2.1 million. Not 1.9 million. I'm not sure you want to do that right now. It won't help the cause. 2

Its the number of student-athletes, donating alumni, and butts in the seats. It all far exceeds that of women's hockey. No comparison. Its amazing to me how football can even be brought up still in this context.

Not sure I agree his method but it is arguable. It's more than likely a combination of "earned" and "unearned" revenue. Things like work study and mandated tuition waivers are included in there as are things like unrestricted funds and unrestricted endowment funds directed by the University. The NCAA report is very useful, however it also has a significant amount of revenues and expenses that are unallocated and is by no means perfect. Wish more schools would make it public... It's pretty bull$%!# that he's leaving out targeted gifting (Champion's Club, etc.) which is a large amount of the direct institutional support. I'm sorry but if I give the school a $1,000 for the right to purchase hockey/ football tickets then that revenue doesn't exist if they cut athletics. I know that doesn't fit in Rob's never-ending quest to prevent others from pursuing athletic activity (in hopes that they will all join him in his morbid obesity) but that's just a fact.

Interested to see how much Title IX stuff they try to stir up; especially after UND was found to be over or hyper-compliant in favor of female athletes. The Sicatoka
I've thrown a bunch of Title IX data into the other WIH thread. They probably don't want to go there. UND was in non-compliance in FY16 ... but it was over-weighted, biased, against men.
Sioux>Bison
Question? did Heidi attend women's hockey game this year? I know she went to at least one in NYC for the men. Now she would be a big hypocrite if she didn't attend a game for both teams
