Regardless of what sport(s) get cut, it's hard on everyone, not just hockey players and fans.

Has any sport, on any campus, anywhere been cut after sending 8 athletes to the last Olympics?

I feel like the local media would keep something like this under wraps until official announcement. If coming from them before even the athlete's know than that is a bad sign. Problem in our country now is even if you plan an announcement or are working on details that there is a leak ahead of time that throws everything into dysfunction.

I saw a post on the social media part on here that the REA said the ice was coming out.
