Siouxman Posted March 27, 2016 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Lot's of very complimentary words about UND from the Michigan Wolverines, Red Berenson, and the Michigan press about the UND team and their victory. Clearly the best team Michigan has played all year. Amazing stat is that UND's 3rd and 4th lines outshot the Michigan 3rd and 4th lines 13 - 1. Even though the score didn't reflect it until late, UND had a dominating performance. Buccigross panders to our fanbase on Twitter but come game time shows his eastern bias. The enthusiasm for Tuch was certainly over the top, but didn't match the Buccigross vocal inflections every time he said Eichel last year. I think hockey fans see a lack of preparation in general, with both play-by-play and color guys. Tim H is not perfect, but we and visiting teams' fans are spoiled by his knowledge and preparation. I could be giving Melrose the benefit of the doubt though. Can't stand Bucci for color, but I appreciate his enthusiasm for the niche he carved out for himself.
