So the lineup....hmmm...truly a guess because you can't not have Arraez in.

1. Buxton-CF

2. Arraez-LF (Listed as an infielder)

3. Polanco-2B

4. Correa-SS

5. Sano-1B

6. Sanchez-DH

7. Urshela-3B

8. Kepler-RF

9. Jeffers-C

What about Kiriloff?  What about Larnach?  What about Gordon or Royce?  Rooker?  I don't know.  How long will they watch Gary Sanchez not hit his weight?

Hopefully they can trade for Montas without giving up Lewis or Martin.

Arraez killing the ball this spring, doesn't have the arm to play 3rd, so Urshela is the guy there, but he needs to play every day.  You can use him as a DH every day because Sanchez won't hit his weight.

Any trade takers on Kepler?  Yeah, too late....

If the Twins can tap into the potential that Paddack has then this is a fantastic trade for them. Losing Rogers hurts but he's in the final year of his contract, he's almost guaranteed heading to free agency to get paid, and he's coming off a pretty significant injury. Paddack has three more years of team control. Bring him in, get him back to his rookie year ability, and you have a legitimate starter for quite a while.

First save opportunity goes to Duffey and he promptly blows it. Only reason I can see for Duffey to get the first chance is just because he has been here longest which seems like a Rocco move.

By this rate Correa will be gone by August.

Alcala or Duran needs to be the guy to close out

You can't trade your closer with zero clue who your closer will be.

And if we are such big percentage and numbers trusters then why is Duffy out there when he's blown 9 of 13 save opportunities in his career?

Year four of Rocco.  At some point he's got to be held accountable.

Rocco isn't the guy that traded the closer away on opening day. He has to deal with what the GM gives him. Seems only fair he should have a little bit of leeway to figure this out.

Breathe

It's only April

This time of year is when you can come up with fun statistics;

1. Buxton is on pace to hit 121 HR's and drive in 162 RBI, which is good news because...

2. The Twins are undefeated when Buxton hits two or more HR's in a game, and they only win 33% of their games when Buxton hits fewer than 2 HR.
