Siouxphan27
So did they do it because he's allegedly brilliant, or because of his age they got him 'cheap'?

He's an up and comer and the Twins see the upside in him. Baseball is turning into an analytical game mixed in with a little bit of old school tactics.

SWSiouxMN
Not sure what to think about the move on the new POBO. Super young, but comes from an organization with decent starting pitching. Just depends on how much legit power he will have. First few moves are crucial to send the "this isnt business as usual" message. As I have stated before, with a new toy in town starting in 2017 in soccer that will compete for eyeballs and potential playoff runs for Wolves and Wild, the Twins need to send that message down the line that this change is real. Everyone has made big moves, what about you? It would also be nice to consider slashing prices a little on tickets or concessions...

Siouxphan27
And with that, the 2016 Twins own the team record for suckage. Not much left to play for now other than the strive for 105..
