ASU did beat #6 UND on neutral ice last season, 3-2

The last few years since covid, when ASU played every game on the road in the B1G, the program lost its early momentum. BUT, with the new arena and a great class and transfers coming in, we expect to be back up competing to make the NCAA Tourney. Obviously we're not in the same class as historic elite programs like UND and DU, but we should be consistently competitive.

please get traded for wester mich or miami...please

Won't be hard to plant a seed of doubt in the program's future with any of their potential or committed recruits.

Maybe show a picture of their participation banners to seal the deal?

Tennessee State to Become 1st HBCU With Hockey Program | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report

Thought is it will be club hockey, got to start somewhere if it is only club hockey for now.

Awesome.  I heard Mike Snee of College Hockey Inc say on a podcast, maybe a year ago, that they would probably start with a club program, with the goal being to eventually elevate it to D1 if possible.    I think as the only HBCU, they may eventually be able to attract some big donors and pull it off.

The Bama situation is interesting, especially since they practice over an hour away in Birmingham. Only a matter of time until they get a rink in town.

Nevada has no income tax, California has absurd income tax. If you're in Northern California and about to get an IPO/buy out/etc windfall, 20% down on a residence in Stateline will more than pay for itself.

thought u meant different parts of nevada were tax havens...yes cali sucks

This is a really good article.  I would add one thing to the writer's conclusions.  When looking/comparing different ACHA programs you need to throw out the D1/D2 labels.  There are D2 programs that are much better, better run, better coached, and get much better fan/student support than many D1 programs.  The D1/D2 label can be deceiving, D1 doesn't always mean better.
