Siouxman Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Kevin Czuczman LSSU left on Tuesday. Czuczman is kind of a Brad Eidsness situation. He had a year of eligibility left, but graduates this spring. He signed with the Islanders. Eidsness did the opposite and stayed at UND another year after he graduated with his bachelor's degree. Quote
keikla Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Matt Carey leaving St. Lawrence after his freshman season. Quote
tnt Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Does Archibald stay at UNO? Will his stock and leverage next year be as high as it is this year? Quote
Goon Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Matt Carey leaving St. Lawrence after his freshman season. Wow! That's a big loss... Quote
scpa0305 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Matt Carey leaving St. Lawrence after his freshman season. Who signed him? I heard the Wild were after him and his big bro. Quote
I Ranger Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Does Archibald stay at UNO? Will his stock and leverage next year be as high as it is this year? I was thinking the same thing. He is a Penguins draft pick so it will be interesting to see if they can entice him to sign or not. I would think they would make a good effort to do so. Quote
keikla Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Who signed him? I heard the Wild were after him and his big bro. The confirming tweet I saw said that he will enter free agency with his brother. Maybe they're hoping to be signed in a package deal? Matt is a 22 year old freshman, so it's not like he's just of out high school. Quote
Goon Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Coyotes sign St. Lawrence F Greg Carey to an entry-level contract. Carey led #NCAA in assists, and finished 2nd in points. #hamont Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Looks like Josh Archibald is gone. Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins 1h Hobey Baker Award finalist Josh Archibald (vote here: http://pens.pe/PTT5YR ) has joined the @WBSPenguins on an Amateur Tryout Agreement. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Would not be surprised to see Miami lose a few of their studs after tonight's result. My guess is Coleman, and Czarnik for sure. Riley Barber a possibility as well. Quote
yzerman19 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Greg Carey's contract NHL public info: Came through weird- $92,500 to sign, $70k AHL, $925k NHL, 1 year deal, $212,500 in potential bonuses Quote
yzerman19 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Also saw that Gopher de-commit Tommy Vannelli signed 3 year deal with the Blues, max signing bonus ($92,500 x 3) $70k in AHL, laddered NHL pay with an avg value of $742,500 Quote

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins 1h Hobey Baker Award finalist Josh Archibald (vote here: http://pens.pe/PTT5YR ) has joined the @WBSPenguins on an Amateur Tryout Agreement. his game was built for the college game, doubt we ever see anything significant from hm in the NHL. SiouxScore Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 That Swedish kid from CC bolted. Tough loss for CC as him and Slavin were definitely the strength of the team, looking forward to seeing him with the Wild in the next few years. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I'm glaring at the Minnesota Wild if they indeed tried to get Oloffson, or however you spell it, to head to the WHL half way through the season. I'm glad he decided not to pull an Okposo/Tambo, and stick it out with his teammates. Quote
keikla Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Trevor Van Riemsdyk left UNH to sign with the blackhawks. Quote
