Sodbuster Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I bet Gothberg wishes he had another chance at that goal.....appeared to me he had a clear look at it. Quote

burd Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Gfhockey get kicked off the site and this is his new name? The way he spells, he might have meant Bob. Quote
jodcon Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Gfhockey get kicked off the site and this is his new name? Used a capital letter...can't be him. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 In the past few years the ratio of "hot goalie" against and for UND has to be 8:1 at best. Quote
Lgbnaf Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 43 saves 1 goal? Does that equal a hot goalie? And no I'm not gfhockey just a new posting fan Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 So at mid January this teams NCCA hopes basically come down to winning back to back games at the Target Center in 8+ weeks? Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 So at mid January this teams NCCA hopes basically come down to winning back to back games at the Target Center in 8+ weeks? Unfortunately yes...it's not a matter of beetching.... It's a matter of math. Quote
nodak651 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 No it doesn't; we're a bubble team. Just gotta win baby.. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Unfortunately yes...it's not a matter of beetching.... It's a matter of math. Math has nothing to do w green tinted glasses, unicorns, rainbows and lollipops for some here. Quote
brianvf Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 With how much the PWR fluctuates week to week, nothing is a certainty as of yet. According to Jim's PWR forecast post, 1 win this weekend (if UND can win tomorrow) puts UND around 19-20 in the PWR rankings. Hardly out of the picture entirely. Still 2 months worth of games to be played, lots can happen. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 A win tomorrow puts UND around 19 or 20...that's not a bubble team. Quote
cberkas Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 A win tomorrow puts UND around 19 or 20...that's not a bubble team. Right now they're 18th. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Right now they're 18th. Well that's better.......... I trust Jim's math provided they win tomorrow. Quote
OETKB Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Can't complain too much tonight; ND outshot BSU and outclassed them for most of the game. Just made some dumb turnovers to allow BSU to score. UND was lucky to tie tonight. I would have to predict a 4-1 win tomorrow, assuming that the boys realize they are sealing their fate as a bubble team unless they win tomorrow. Basically a MUST WIN game. Quote
nodak651 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 A win tomorrow puts UND around 19 or 20...that's not a bubble team. Yeah it is. The season doesn't end tomorrow and as mentioned, these ratings are volatile as hell. We do well the rest of the season and we'll be a tournament team whether we win in Minneapolis or not. Quote
SiouxScore Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Disappointed to not come away with a better result but this really wasn't a bad game from the Sioux. Lots of chances and have to capitalize on more of them, I believe Schmaltz and Grimaldi both had a post and Rodwell and Parks were both stopped on semi breakaways. Typical BSU game they sat back and waited for mistakes and when they got one they took advantage of it. Reffing really benefited BSU tonight too with the hooking and holding really not being called at all. Would think if the same effort is brought tomorrow that the guys find a way to finish a few more chances and get the win. Quote
Hawkster Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 It's obvious there is just no ebb and flow to this team. Come on guys, start showing consistency. Quote
