geaux_sioux Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 We used to struggle in Cali. Both teams aren't very good. The question is.... Who is worse? Quote
Shawn-O Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Davis runs the football with impunity on the way to a 28-7 win. Quote
UNDBIZ Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I feel like our offense is showing real signs of future potential with Bartels at the helm. The defense is still pretty awful, though perhaps better than last year. Regardless, 28-22 Davis Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 UC-Davis has seemingly been very up and down. They got crushed at home by Portland St., and lost almost as badly as UND did at home against Montana. But they've also had some good performances, and handled both UNC and Idaho St. more easily than UND did. They also had a nice win at Southern Utah. If the "good" version of UC-Davis shows up, it could be another long day. If it's the Portland St. or Montana versions, UND would have a shot. However, with an extra week to prepare (they had a bye last week), I suspect this will be the "good" version on Saturday. Quote

Hawkster Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I'd Bartles will continue to look good, but the D gives up more than Ryan could counter. Davis wins 34-24. Right now, the only thing this team has going for it is Bartles and I hope he stays sharp. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Those lights at the end of the tunnel are the tail lights of Muss's U-Haul heading out of town. Davis 31-21 Quote
forksandspoons Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 31-24 UC Davis. Bartles throws for over 300 but has two interceptions to go along with zero forced turnovers by our defense. Quote
GoAgs72 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Randy Wright, the Aggies four-year starter at QB is setting a number of Aggie passing records but you will find him the most inconsistent record-setter you've ever seen. If the Aggies win, it will probably get down to rushing and defense. If Wright plays the good game is capable of, it will be a long day for UND. If Wright has a terrible day, which he is also capable of, you will have two INT's and four sacks and see a lot of passes over- or under-thrown. Watch Manzanares at RB - he is monster who came out of nowhere this year as a walk-on. Quote
GoAgs72 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 In the past, there has been a good turn-out of UND fans at Davis. I hope that's the case because we really need to boost attendance which has been to 6000 even after school started. The forecast is for our usual California football weather - it will be sunny and about 70 degrees. Quote
bincitysioux Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Looking forward to visiting Aggie Stadium this weekend. I was there in 2009 also. It is a nice venue to watch a game. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 UND does what UNC did last weekend: give one away one the road. Davis at home scores late due to UND mismanagement, wins by four. (I'll guess the mismanagement to be clock management related, not that that is overtly predictable with this 'coaching' regime.) Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Gameday and this thread has now 4 posts... Davis wins 31-20 Quote
