Wilbur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Do they want Clowney or not? There is no way they take Clowney with the QB issues they have. He's the best player there, completely agree. But If its between him and (insert best QB), its gotta be the QB. 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Yikes......doesn't matter that they're blowing this game right here. I'm hoping Leslie takes a timeout or two here to leave some time on the clock. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 My gosh....Ponder can't even get the ball to the end zone...... Quote
sprig Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 My gosh....Ponder can't even get the ball to the end zone...... Can only throw the ball about 47-8 yards, wow! Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Can only throw the ball about 47-8 yards, wow! Pretty tight spiral though..... Quote
Wilbur Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 This team and Franchise....... ~Patterson fumbles ball out of bounds at 5.... ~Ponder fumbles in end zone. Offensive lineman doesn't grab ball....pushes it towards Cowboy. ~Blair Walsh misses extra point to make it four point game. ~Vikings do nothing with interception at Dallas forty. And can't kick field goal because kicker can't make an extra point. ~Defense goes extremely soft at the end to allow Cowboys to score game winning TD. ~And Ponder does not have a strong enough arm to throw the ball into the end zone. And that sums up the Minnesota Vikings. Quote
sprig Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Seems like someone on the Viking sideline could have thrown it further. Maybe a defensive lineman. Quote

MafiaMan Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 ~Defense goes extremely soft at the end to allow Cowboys to score game winning TD. Well duh! Zyggi called Leslie on his cell phone with 2:00 left in the game and reminded him that Tampa Bay was pounding Seattle (at the time) and the #1 draft pick in 2014 was on the line! The fix is in! Quote
Wilbur Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 On a totally unrelated note....Aaron Rogers just left the game with an injury. Although he is my fantasy starting QB this is okay with me....But I'm sure he'll come back in the end and lead the packers to victory. Just has that feel to it. Edit* Out for the game. Lets pretend broken collarbone....thats six weeks. Which means he wouldn't torch the vikings again in a couple of weeks. Lord is that Green Bay maybe winnable now? Quote
Wilbur Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Now is not the time to win meaningless football games. Give AP the ball, Christian can screw it up. 1-15.....1-15.... Quote
Fetch Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Defense actually may have lucked out & won that one in the end Quote
Fetch Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 How about that last Viking time out ? Quote
Wilbur Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I liked the timeouts. Should have used them earlier to save some more time. If they scored at least they would have had a bit of time to try and win the game with a score. Bye bye Mariota...... Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Way to go, Vikings! Bye bye #1 pick! I think Jacksonville is going to finish 0-16, which means the #1 overall pick is out of reach anyway. As long the Vikings get a top five draft choice, I can live with that. Quote
MafiaMan Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I think Jacksonville is going to finish 0-16, which means the #1 overall pick is out of reach anyway. I agree with you there...that's one sorry football team in Jacksonville. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Whats stupid is the Vikings are like a 3 and a half minute stretch away from being 5-4...... Chicago....Last minute Cleveland....Last minute Dallas......Last minute Christian Ponder actually played pretty well besides the interception. Moved the offense, made some plays with his feet. I honestly hope he craps the bed the rest of the way if he plays after his injury. That way they get themselves a legitimate college QB. It was weird seeing Musgrave actually open up the playbook and use play action on running downs. Normally I know exactly what the Vikings are going to do, but tonight he had me guessing. Quote
jimdahl Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I was struggling to keep up with the overlapping Washington vs. Minnesota double-header. Both required watching right to the end, but I was happy to see the Vikes win. I can't really get behind cheering for my team to lose so they get a better pick. Quote
