2013 Volleyball Season

Were you one of the 73 that bought season tickets last night?

I actually did buy a season ticket. Couldn't go wrong at $20 bucks. Was trying to figure out what the catch was. I have watched about 8-10 games through the Big Sky.

Fantastic value. I debated but get free through champions club. I sure hope that doesn't disappear and here I didn't buy the season ticket package.

I went to my first UND volleyball game at the Betty last night. Fun atmosphere. Great place to watch a game. My kids went to Shanley - looking forward to watching a Shanley grad (Fraase) play for UND in a few years.

I wouldn't be surprised if some give verbals in the next few weeks since the high school seasons are just about done. I wonder who Hardee has been watching?

I was hoping that, considering the importance of the game, the crowd would have been a little bigger. Thursday nights seem to be tough draws. Hopefully senior day on Saturday will bring a better attendance.

I'm completely outside the loop when in comes to volleyball. Is it like basketball with conference tournaments to find automatic bids to the national tournament? How many teams make the national tournament?

The top 6 teams have a tournament and the winner gets an autobid into the NCAA tournament. This year the tourney is in Portland.

Similar to basketball in that 64 teams make the tourney.

I watched tonight as the women clinched a share of UNDs first Big Sky Regular Season Championship, and hence I watched history being made.
