Snake Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Is it time for the NCAA selection committee to stack the Connecticut teams in the same regional? Quote
yzerman19 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Connecticut: the state of hockey. and no guns...sorry...probably doesn't belong on this thread Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Is it time for the NCAA selection committee to stack the Connecticut teams in the same regional? Remember when UND fans wanted to be in Quinnipiac's region? Quote
runaroundsioux Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Does this mean the St. Cloud boys can cut their hair now? Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Does this mean the St. Cloud boys can cut their hair now? You mean that wasn't the WOMEN'S team playing? Quote
Godsmack Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I'll never forgive St. Cloud after how militant they were towards UND regarding the Sioux nickname. 2 Quote

geaux_sioux Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Fire Bob Motzko! Where does that schmuck buy his suits? Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Where does that schmuck buy his suits? I think at Wal-Mart in Fergus Falls... Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Saw Hartzell play for Sioux Falls against the Fargo Force at the first ever game at the then Urban Plains Center. (Force won 2-1) Game winning goal was scored by Luke Witkowski (Western Mich, just went pro), and the Force goaltender was SCSU's own Mike Lee. Believe Nate Condon scored a goal in that game too. Hartzell's dad was coaching Sioux Falls then. Thought he was pretty good then. So that is Kevin Hartzell's kid. Funny that he did not play for the rodents since he dad was a captain there and assistant coach. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Where does that schmuck buy his suits? At the local Goodwill store. Same as you do. Possible the Salvation Army. Quote
Wilbur Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 First period killed SCSU. Three chances, three goals. Two teams playing some pretty good hockey. Should be a good championship game. I'll say Yale....3-2. Quote
runaroundsioux Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 At the local Goodwill store. Same as you do. Possible the Salvation Army. Bitterman returns! Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 so if the ncaa dropped hockey could we go back to the Fighting Sioux & get a new assn that knows hockey & how to run a program - the ncaa is not good for college hockey Could they even do this? Quote
brianvf Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 So we have the #1 overall seed against the #15 overall seed. Quote
brianvf Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 First period killed SCSU. Three chances, three goals. Faragher had a brutal game. Weird to see after he's had some amazing games (especially against the Sioux, it seems) this season. That first goal set the tone IMO. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 At the local Goodwill store. Same as you do. Possible the Salvation Army. At those prices you can't go wrong. And I make a $10 suit look just fine. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 In chastising Dave Hakstol, Mike McFeely said so last week. It's also an FU talking point. Must be true. They may not have athletic scholarships. But they have academic scholarships, which I would assume requires the same academic standards that other students would be under. That is like how Robbie Bina's brother got more money in academic scholarships at Wisconsin-Superior than Robbie got at UND. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 At those prices you can't go wrong. And I make a $10 suit look just fine. As does the guy living under the Sorlie Bridge. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Yale will win. Heck whoever wins it still will be a great college hockey game to watch. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 At the 4 minute 23 second mark, I told Motzko to call a time out but, nooooo, he waits until the 3 minute 55 second mark!!! Did the man learn nothing from watching the Hakstoll coaching tapes??? Quote
