geaux_sioux Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Msu looks like a southern team playing their first cold weather game.
dakotadan Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I would love to have MSU's stadium and atmosphere. And it looks great on TV, good representation of the FCS.
jodcon Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 20-3 at halftime, could have been worse but MSU made 2 goal-line stands to hold SHSU to FG's.

jodcon Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 MSU scores after a fake punt but misses the XP 20-9 early 3rd
jodcon Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 MSU fumbles at their own 10 and SHSU capitalizes 27-9, might be the beginning of the end for MSU.
Matt Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 So much for my prediction. It appears MSU is the one going fetal in the cold. Maybe just as well for the cats to bow out tonight. From what i've seen here, the AC would crush them. Again.
jodcon Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 MSU hasn't made stops on crucial plays and McGhee hasn't moved them at all, pretty poor performance at home. 34-16 Final
WYOBISONMAN Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 McGhee has alway been way overrated. He is just an average QB.
jodcon Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 McGhee has alway been way overrated. He is just an average QB. Tony Romo of FCS...looks good in the regular season, sucks in the playoffs.
Let'sGoHawks! Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 According to the score MSU got destroyed! Wow
Tsiouxnami Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I think the AC/Wofford game will be close because of Wofford's defense (they are a top 10 but nobody knows it). I like a 17-7 game for the AC. With some much rushing, possessions will be limited. I like the Redbirds in an upset. The Bobcats get payback on Sam, which folds up in the fetal position in the cold. ODU beats GSU in a close one. One would think the Bobcats were the team that had never played in the cold before. OUCH!
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 According to the score MSU got destroyed! Wow They got destroyed.
WYOBISONMAN Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 But take a look at MSUs record this year and who they have played. They are likely the weakest 10-1 team that was in the playoffs. 2 of the wins were a D2 and Drake...a non scholie school. No FBS game at all. The toughest home game they faced was against EWU and the Cats got beat.
Oxbow6 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I don't think FU has any problems with Wofford. If your meal ticket is pounding the rock...you are playing into FU's hands. Their front 7 on D should dominate. This isn't even GSU from last year's playoffs and look how they handled them.

But, they do have that RB that is a Payton finalist. It could be a lot tighter than people think.....especially if our offense can't score.
homer Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 As long as FU's offense doesn't give Wofford any points the game won't be close. One thing FU is very good at is protecting the football. Games FU has struggled in this year, they have turned the ball over. I think they win this one going away.

He doesn't have to win it, just not lose it today.
gfhockey Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 And we got destorued by msu We are light years behind folks and will continue to.
Matt Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Wasn't the MSU defense the best in the BSC? If that's true, as we've seen from the UND defense this year as well, this conference has a long way to go on defense.
WYOBISONMAN Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 And we got destorued by msu We are light years behind folks and will continue to. UND needs a new DC for sure.
Hansel Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 McGhee has alway been way overrated. He is just an average QB. McGhee over Heinecke (sp?) for All-American is a joke.
Oxbow6 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 UND needs a new DC for sure. That's on the Christmas list...among other things that have to do with this FB program.
