We do produce a lot of red skinned potatoes. We already have the Potato Bowl. I say it's worth a shot. Fun name to throw out but no way they choose a name that tweaks the nose of the NCAA (not saying I don't like it just saying reality says we are in for a name that is very well researched so as not to offend anyone. BigGame Posted September 30, 2014 Share Posted September 30, 2014 I guess I like some different names that have been tossed around to different degrees but I am almost positive I will be disappointed in whatever is selected. I have a question, why does the new name need any association to the state or region? It would make sense but I certainly don't think it should be requirement. If the best name also has a regional or state association that's great but if something is better I don't feel it should be pushed aside for that specific criteria. I almost feel like it should be something mythical or extict so it can't be questioned by the party poopers.
