Wish UND could benefit from a long string of postseason strong performances like Denver has. Love that he is gaining confidence, so hopefully the future holds that kind of postseason success for UND too. Can’t complain about Spunar’s play though, as UND needed to support him better at the Frozen Four with a better power play. 1 Quote

Our PP stats every year seem okay...never horrible...but always feels like we score all our PPG's when already up by 3 or 4 goals. Need some timely ones which never seem to happen. 3 Quote

Yeah, I can see how every team plays good defense in the postseason, but it isn’t like UND only had a chance or two, and Wisconsin wasn’t exactly a great penalty kill team. Need to impress upon the team that in playoffs you need to assume you may only get one power play, so you better bear down and have a sense of urgency on every one you manage to get. Quote

As a UND fan in attendance it was hilarious in the moment and fun to laugh about after the game at McGovern's, Reids, Alary's () or wherever we went, but then to hear the backstory and realize it was mental health related indeed made it sad. It was a moment to remember but hopefully things came around for him. Checking hockeydb I see that he did have a brief career after college so that at least wasn't his last on-ice memory. Quote

He actually was diagnosed bipolar later in life. Actually kind of a sad story. I guess he’s got that all figured out now which is great. Quote
