Great to see, nice work Bryn!

According to a source, all four Fighting Hawks coaching staff members — head coach Dane Jackson, associate head coach Matt Smaby, assistant coach Dillon Simpson and general manager Bryn Chyzyk — visited Fitzhenry a couple of weeks ago.

Fitzhenry informed UND's staff of his decision this week.

With Fitzhenry’s commitment, UND now has three National Team Development Program commitments of the same birth year for the first time ever.

Sounds like it was down to UND and UMN.
Great recruiting battle win for the good guys!  :)

Not sure how many we lose after next year, but room may be an issue next year without pushing off a player or two.  If you look at the 2027 top draft prospects, McKamey is one of the notable prospects, and would think Sanderson would be set to come in as well.

Chase Surkan and Brock Cripps are other notable prospects.  Could possibly need another defenseman like Cripps, depending on how many we lose.  Opening up the CHL to recruitment sure makes a ton of great prospects available, and you will never have enough room for them all, nor should you, as you need those potential 4 year guys as well.
