Love all the future housing that’d be right on Uni with mixed use, including next to the future softball field and the Pollard! And an aquatic center at the wellness is long overdue!

Hey, zoom way in on page 5, at Memorial Village.

There's what looks to be a ... skyway ... from the "bridge to nowhere" to Memorial Village! My dream might happen!  

 

Now if we could just get a "bona fide electrified, six-car monorail" from Alerus, up 42nd, down the heart of campus (University), up to REA, to Med, we'd have caught up to Shelbyville!

I saw another photo somewhere recently that had another skyway connected to the bridge to nowhere from some new apartments at the corner of Uni and Columbia.

Back to page 5: 

If they built out that "Item 6" (at U and Columbia) and tied it (using the stand alone tower that exists) to "Item 2" (Mem Vill) it's probably what you saw artwork of. 

Putting in a skyway from Mem Vill to the existing tower would make sense as that's already tied to the ramp. Easy parking.

Guessing there are more renderings out there somewhere.  Not sure why UND wants to hid them.  I think I remember reading somewhere that the bridge will not be built right away and that it was a future option but I don't remember where I remember reading it.

so hyslop is gonna be torn down officially?

wish they would do what they did to the old library by the traxs.....tear down the additions and bring back basketball to a renovated 360 degree bowls seated hyslop!!!!!!!!!!!!
