Or so guys that lived in East Hall informed me. I assume that is still the case. Now the stuff seeping from the cracks, uhm that could be either as well, somebody might accept those as a challenge after a frat party. Quote
Cratter Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Hate to be a Debbie downer but this new pics of phase 2 don't look nearly as cool as the original. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 Anyone needing some light reading I suggest: https://campus.und.edu/facilities-management/_files/docs/2022-master-plan-supplemental-planning/2022-sasaki-site-planning-updated.pdf Page 5/20 of the PDF (8/9 of brochure) lays down a nice vision that's being implemented. Lots of fun stuff here too: https://campus.und.edu/facilities-management/planning-process.html Love all the future housing that’d be right on Uni with mixed use, including next to the future softball field and the Pollard! And an aquatic center at the wellness is long overdue! Quote
The Sicatoka Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 An aquatic center at Wellness allows them to use the Hyslop site for a STEM building. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 We're open to whatever she wants to build from page 5 of this: https://campus.und.edu/facilities-management/_files/docs/2022-master-plan-supplemental-planning/2022-sasaki-site-planning-updated.pdf Side note: I notice it's just "Kris Engelstad" here (no McGarry) and in the GFH. Did she divorce? 1 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 Hey, zoom way in on page 5, at Memorial Village. There's what looks to be a ... skyway ... from the "bridge to nowhere" to Memorial Village! My dream might happen! Now if we could just get a "bona fide electrified, six-car monorail" from Alerus, up 42nd, down the heart of campus (University), up to REA, to Med, we'd have caught up to Shelbyville! 1 Quote

I saw another photo somewhere recently that had another skyway connected to the bridge to nowhere from some new apartments at the corner of Uni and Columbia. Quote

Back to page 5: If they built out that "Item 6" (at U and Columbia) and tied it (using the stand alone tower that exists) to "Item 2" (Mem Vill) it's probably what you saw artwork of. Putting in a skyway from Mem Vill to the existing tower would make sense as that's already tied to the ramp. Easy parking. 1 Quote
nodak651 Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 I remember seeing it from knox https://knoxradio.com/2022/05/24/gf-council-reviews-memorial-village-project/ Guessing there are more renderings out there somewhere. Not sure why UND wants to hid them. I think I remember reading somewhere that the bridge will not be built right away and that it was a future option but I don't remember where I remember reading it.
