Dave Berger Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Weekend Preview: UND at Arizona State Discuss. 🙂 Dave 1 Quote
RedFrog Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I have a feeling that the boys bring it this weekend. I think they want to get a W tonight so they can get Gibby in net for Saturday and want to get him a W against these guys after they didn't play well in front of him earlier this year. (Spunar got the W on Friday night). I also think they see an opportunity wasted last Saturday v Denver and will be hungry to get all 6 points this weekend. My prediction: Friday: UND 5 - ASU 1 Saturday: UND 3 - ASU 2 3 1 Quote
Blackheart Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Seems like ASU always gives us fits at their place. Really hoping the boys can put it all together (#full120 😜) for two solid games. Would love to take more than 3 points out of the desert. 1 Quote

I also have it in the link! https://ftstspotlight.blogspot.com/2026/01/frozen-over-or-fired-up-weekend-hockey.html?m=1 Let's Go Get'em! Und Princess 2 Quote
brianvf Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I’d love to see it, but I doubt ASU is held to only one goal all weekend. Their PP is potent. 1 Quote

burd Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I just hope we can compete. ASU is a BIG 10 type of school. Way big. Way rich. Even golf is frat house/Waste Management cool there. No potato factories there; no siree. 3 Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted January 23 Posted January 23 My crystal ball sees two 4-2 games - one win each. 1 Quote

Kab Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I’m not seeing a sweep, make me change my mind with a Friday win Quote

Wilbur Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 4 plus points this weekend and I'll be happy. Potter is a huge loss for them. Take advantage of that. 1 Quote
nodakgirl93 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Klee is injured. What is ASUs line chart? We know Potter is out but what about their other star players? Quote

SuhakiYeahYeah Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Kuehne out but Schimek in, Smolen replaces Potter on the top line Quote
Blackheart Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I see Mr Croal is back in the lineup…let’s go! 1 Quote
bcblues Posted January 24 Posted January 24 We need to contain and exhaust ASU's first line. That's half the battle. Stay out of the box to avoid their potent PP. Don't make silly mistakes and turn the puck over, giving ASU quick break ops. Do that and I think we can sweep. Did I say stay out of the box? Quote
bcblues Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Oh, and we need our goal scorers to, well, score goals! I hope Homer is up to the task. Quote
