I have a feeling that the boys bring it this weekend.  I think they want to get a W tonight so they can get Gibby in net for Saturday and want to get him a W against these guys after they didn't play well in front of him earlier this year. (Spunar got the W on Friday night).  I also think they see an opportunity wasted last Saturday v Denver and will be hungry to get all 6 points this weekend.

My prediction:

Friday: UND 5 - ASU 1

Saturday: UND 3 - ASU 2

Seems like ASU always gives us fits at their place.  Really hoping the boys can put it all together (#full120 😜) for two solid games.  Would love to take more than 3 points out of the desert.

I’d love to see it, but I doubt ASU is held to only one goal all weekend. Their PP is potent.

“Always” being a whopping 2 game series last year.

I just hope we can compete.  ASU is a BIG 10 type of school.  Way big.  Way rich.   Even golf is frat house/Waste Management cool there.  No potato factories there; no siree.

Just for context, UND is 10-2 on Fridays this season 😊

4 plus points this weekend and I'll be happy.  Potter is a huge loss for them.  Take advantage of that.

We need to contain and exhaust ASU's first line. That's half the battle.

Stay out of the box to avoid their potent PP.

Don't make silly mistakes and turn the puck over, giving ASU quick break ops.

Do that and I think we can sweep.
