Will be fun as the state’s only FCS team.

This brings up a great point.  If UND can change recent history and make deep runs year after year it will be enjoyable to see the only D1 post season news come from UND.

As an aside, now that the vitriol has settled from their move, I still want to play the yellow cattle every year.  If they win it’s expected, when we win, which we would occasionally we have massive bragging rights. My view is there’s nothing to lose for us.

If we aren't at the same level I have zero interest, and certainly not for games only in Fargo, which is what they would demand. Build some new rivalries. The days of the nickel are long gone.

honestly, there’s really only one way for UND to handle all of this: start kickin’ some ass

Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.

I've got no interest in playing them either.   Their fans are total jerks and that's putting nicely.

I would not be in favor of playing them unless we got home and away game plus fair amount of money to go there. That will never happen to big of ego blow for them. I see mountain West didn’t give them much of schedule for home. northern Illinois, Utep, Nevada, and finally Wyoming not one top team of conference coming here these would have been teams they could beat on road. If we take care of business this year we could capture local media coverage as they sit home and not playing until following fall. They don’t think that’s not going to hurt them and then upping ticket prices for this home scheduled I will be curious who they get to come here I got feeling it’s going to be difficult get somebody good know one wants to take risk to new FBS program where they could loose. I don’t feel sorry for them and  we’ll see how this turns out.

Financially it will never make sense for an FBS to visit a FCS school. Fargo and the big heads would never agree to play in Grand Forks again anyways.

Game will be only in Fargo or be on hold again for X number of years until UND goes FBS, which does need to happen in 3-5 years.

In the meantime, start to (and need to) dominate the FCS.

A Misdemeanor for joshing around with a fire extinguisher in the dorms. Not the crime of the century. Pled immediately. Some restitution for replacing it and cleaning up the damage. Deferred imposition of sentence, so if he stays out of trouble for 6 months it'll be dismissed, assuming he does everything he's supposed to do.
