Yes Danny will be looking eventually, but my guess is he would likely want to stick around at least 2-3 years to hopefully ride out this upswing in UND football under Schmidt for a little while. If Schmidt is really successful, Schmidt might move up and maybe Danny gets shot at head coach. The red zone TD stats don't lie, and Danny didn't have a QB that could actually run like Jerry can. 2 3 Quote

Schmidt says he wanted coaches with energy and desire to improve their craft, if so, we will lose some assistants but still can get quality especially if we continue our trajectory. 1 Quote

Thus having Bubba as HC x 11 years was a travesty, but we know how that story ended. The current path is the one to be excited about. Set high expectations.
