Wasn't pretty, but UND grits out the win.

Yeah, three icings where a little touch or off the boards would have killed a lot more time.  Thankfully Reschny was very good in the faceoff circle.

Not bad for all underclassmen as centers. While hopefully Rickwood can come back soon, it’s nice to see these young centers holding their own and gaining experience.

Boys were outworked, IMO, but got the W anyway.

I think part of it is being more tentative in trying to close out the game because of the large ice surface and not wanting to get caught.  Probably shows up more when the game is on the line.  One week of practicing on Olympic ice doesn’t make up for a lifetime of knowing what your gapping should look like especially at end of game pressures.

Always going to be tight games at the Herb.  Team scored enough, but I thought we'd see a better group than what we saw last Saturday.

Good teams win when they don't play great, and I think you'll see an inspired SCSU team trying to get out of their UND swoon tomorrow night.

Does the REA's olympic sheet still use R22?  If so, it seems like it will soon make sense to shrink it down to NHL dimensions given that, in regard to it's intended purpose, it will soon be obsolete.

Believe the change was made away from R22 a few years back.  Charlie has since left the Ralph and retired.

I didn’t catch much of the game but sounds like we didn’t play our A game. That said, I’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week. Hopefully the buys play a better game as you know the Huskies will be playing desperation hockey tomorrow.

Their SHG is on Wiebe. Coasting back when someone is behind you? One or two more strides and he lifts the stick easily.

Also, can't believe Burnevik saw Zellers alone near the net and didn't immediately neutralize him. Some beer league-caliber mental lapses by both teams.

Man...really hope that Zmolek, Rickwood, and Jubenvill are cleared prior to the Mercyhurst series.
Otherwise with WJC and possibly Spengler Cup players gone, things might be a bit complex.

This is why we're taking it slow with all three of them.

No TV, either game ... hey Midco, UND hockey is the only reason I put up with you ...

same here…but that may change in the next year or two max.
