Their goalie was either very good, or very lucky (likely both). He gave up a ton of rebounds that could have easily been buried. Should have heard Chelsae Dagger a few more times.

Their goalies basically have to play out of their minds to get them wins.

Lucky for sure.  There were multiple scrambles in front of their net that could have easily found twine.

Time will tell, but a team that builds a reputation of outplaying its opponents in the third is getting some good game coaching (in addition to never-quit culture building).

I’m on board with this.

When you watch Reschney live over a few games he is a modern day version of Toews at this stage. Extremely solid 200 foot game. You can tell he's going to be a pro's pro.

.....and don’t get me started on Verhoeff. 17, kid is ginormous and is IMO the most physically skilled Dman UND has had since we've had season tickets...that's a long time.

Enjoy these two this year. They're just different.

About Tyler Young:

About dominating 3rd periods:

Listening to the postgame with Jax and reading between the lines, Tyler had to wait on the sidelines while they chased a few blue chippers.  I'm guessing Martone was one of them.  It says a lot about his character that he is willing to do that and earn his spot every game.

The sad part is, we won’t even get to see their final forms. The unlimited potential.

Matvick>Bucci

What ESPN should know when doing the Frozen Four

I am actually a little surprised we hadn't thought of this until now.  Matvik does usually get an NCAA regional assignment.

I enjoyed listening to Matvick.  Does a good job.

Play 5x5 and don't take penalties.  Tonight's game is for Gibby.  All in to get him the Spartan helmet.

Expect a @gfhockey sighting there?

It is interesting they brought donors with, but they do need a new basketball arena that for some reason they are renovating. Getting ideas that I wouldn't be surprised to see in Mullet or DFA (Mullet having the bar only for a few sections needs to change).
