While the outcome would not be different, it looked like both interfered with each other. Mont were holding him going into the end zone, and both hands and Mont jumping made the call bc it looked like they stopped him INT it. 

I think Jerry may have thought that there wasn't enough time to get the spike in once it was snapped, but even if its a spike the OL just stood there, play till the whistle.

I figured we would have some growing pains and bumps in the road early on this season. But I do think we'll get better as the season goes on.

The good news is we are ahead. The bad news is we should be leading by a lot more. Missed extra point, strange play calling, poor decision making by the QB and some missed throws that should have been completed. Lots to improve on in the second half on the offensive side.

I'm hoping that the 2nd quarter was the off-quarter and we lucked out that D played well and we kept the lead instead of being total collapse.
