Since it's a slow news week (sarcasm) I wanted to give everyone some info on Future Hawks. This Google Doc is available for everyone to view, but I'll be the only one able to edit.

It has about 150 names of athletes who've received offers from UND, visited on Junior Days, and have generally been reached out to by the football staff. I'll update it as often as I can, but give a little grace when there's a new announcement. We're currently sitting at 45 offers, and I'm sure there will be plenty more, with three more Junior Days planned this spring!

Gutzmer would be a great get, but will be tough to land.  Has Miami Florida offer. 

edit - Been told that he likes Danny and Schmitty so some hope for the good guys.

Just listened to his 360 interview with him. What an exciting first commit. Just a flat-out head to head over NDSU. Based on some of the teams that were lurking, this could really turn into a big-time commit.

Will be a great leader for the 2027 class.

He’s signing and arriving spring semester 2027; will get here early just like Aidan Wunderlich and others did.

Why should we? After 15+ years of mediocrity and frustration, some positive vibes are called for here.

There's a black canyon of the Gunnison wide difference between positive vibes and insanely overhyping a player.

He has a very good opportunity to be a difference maker for UND and to steal him from NDSU is proof Schmidt has the team on his back. That's positive vibes. 

But maybe we don't need to hype a 17-year-old soon-to-be FCS player as a future pro just yet?

Why not?? If he has the tools and the potential then let’s absolutely hype him up and do what we can to help him turn into a future pro!!

All of the hype won’t make him a future pro. And the history of UND to the NFL is not very impressive. You might want to pump the brakes a bit.

The kids goal is to be a pro. You hold him to pro expectations. Pretty simple

We really don’t know that is true. Maybe NDSU’s offer was  partial and UND a full ride. It has happened before. One offers first then the other offers more.
