One name that comes to mind as a possible assistant coach is Pierre Paul Lamoureaux. He has experience as a coach and scouting.  He has strong ties and connections in Canada.

You seem to really have some great leadership ideas and it sounds like you have had a successful career.  Have you thought about taking over something like the 1883 collective ? Or using your leadership experience to help our favorite hockey program in someway ? I am being serious

kind of you...I do care about the program and have thrown some influence here and there behind the scenes, but I am in no way a real big deal.  I thought about getting involved more seriously in hockey, but I got roped into helping a start-up that I was advising and investing in.  The people that want to tap me can tap me and they know...I will be honest and genuine and do my best

How did Chaves let our program get to this stage where we are the team getting raided in the portal, instead of being able to get the best talent.   The fact that scouts and Junior coaches say we have to be more visible just shows he was completely asleep at the wheel not knowing what was going on with the program.

Expectation is top 2 in the league, regardless.  Jackson was part of the problem, and he does not get a grace period as far as I am concerned.  A new coach would deserve that period, not someone involved in the downfall of the program.

Northern Michigan?

Bemidji State?

As an alum and booster of our programs, I will not accept that. And if Chaves is accepting of this, then he needs to go. Which should happen regardless.
