TwamleyShuffle Posted Sunday at 02:45 AM Posted Sunday at 02:45 AM They took this announcement before the portal opens on Sunday quite seriously. Kind of late to be announcing things I do reckon. Quote
Popular Post Wilbur Posted Sunday at 02:45 AM Popular Post Posted Sunday at 02:45 AM I was on the Herter bandwagon. Not shocked it's Jackson as we never stray away from comfort.... 12 Quote

Oxbow6 Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM The one thing Jackson won't have to deal with that BB did is that anchor of a (departing) Sr. class. 1 Quote
UNDhoops Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM The rare Saturday night news dump. What an embarrassment we are 3 Quote

Yes, the article said that he was offered a HC job in the AHL. Quote Jackson has turned down opportunities to go to the NHL as an assistant coach and the American Hockey League as a head coach. 1 Quote

Popular Post nodakgirl93 Posted Sunday at 02:52 AM Popular Post Posted Sunday at 02:52 AM I wonder if Chaves had a visit with the team as if it was a school class. "Okay class we have fired your teacher. Do you want your teacher's assistant to be your new teacher or should we bring in someone else?" 3 6 Quote
gfhockey Posted Sunday at 02:53 AM Posted Sunday at 02:53 AM So what did jacks coach last year at und? Hope it wasn’t the pk…. 2 Quote
Godsmack Posted Sunday at 02:54 AM Posted Sunday at 02:54 AM Now, does Jackson retain Karl and Simpson or does he bring in new supporting staff? 1 Quote

SiouxScore Posted Sunday at 02:56 AM Posted Sunday at 02:56 AM Certainly wasn’t my first choice. Disappointing to see like a UND/GF tie was requirement to be a finalist. No Barr or Raboin are disappointing but not sure they’d let it out if they were finalist due to effect on their current job. Hope for the best under Jackson but need to see a lot of change. Quote

To be fair, the PK was great every other year (when Dane also coached it). It was horrendous to start the year, probably didn't help losing the team's best PKer and shot blocker right out of the gate)...but did get better the last few months. We'll see. I'm guessing this year was more of an anomaly. 1 minute ago, Godsmack said: Now, does Jackson retain Karl and Simpson or does he bring in new supporting staff? I'm guessing we'll see all new. 3 Quote

I would assume and really hope he is cleaning house and putting a new staff together. Chaves probably was easy to convince but you would have to at least try to sell the fact you are trying to change things 1 Quote
