Next year's leadership crew will be quite interesting as like you said very few upperclassmen. I could see Reschny wearing the "C" next year (obviously with the assumption Liv and Weibe are gone). Swanson and Emery as other possibilities. But in the meantime, let's hopefully enjoy a long postseason run this year! I think we’d see Croal with the C before anyone else. The guy is Sioux hockey through and through. Moot point for now but that’d be my guess. 2 Quote

brianvf Posted yesterday at 07:50 AM Posted yesterday at 07:50 AM Pretty impressive stuff from Rickwood: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/5-und-hockey-notes-ellis-rickwood-is-ncaas-leading-scorer-since-return-from-injury Quote The transfer from Clarkson is the NCAA's leading scorer since Dec. 8, the week he returned from a lower-body injury. Rickwood has 16 points in 10 games during that span, one more than Arizona State forward Cruz Lucius, Michigan Tech forward Max Koskipirtti and Minnesota Duluth forward Jayson Shaugabay of Warroad, Minn. Dominating 3rd periods: Quote UND has dominated its opponents in the third period this season. The Fighting Hawks have outscored their opponents by 12 goals in the first, eight in the second and a whopping 26 in the third. "I think we play so hard and have such a great four lines and eight 'D,' we can just roll," Strinden said. "I think that wears on a team. Obviously, you see it in the third period." 2 Quote
Godsmack Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The newest College Hockey Today podcast is now posted. Schlossman mentioned that his car wouldn’t start when he returned to the Grand Forks airport. I’m a little surprised he doesn’t take an Uber or cab on the Herald’s dime to avoid such situations happening in the cold weather. 2 Quote
burd Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It will be a pleasure to see our two Victoria guys team up on a goal like their game winner that got so much play last year. 2 Quote
SJHovey Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I see that Corey Pronman at The Athletic has KV at the top of the draft board. 3 Quote

Maybe the Heraldo putting the squeeze on such luxuries such as trips to the airport… 2 Quote
TwamleyShuffle Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago maybe he was in a rush and didn’t have time for the apps to find him a driver. I used uber once to go to target and once to go to my hotel when visiting Grand Forks and I had the same driver both times, ie there’s not a lot of drivers so maybe he didn’t want to risk missing the flight due to that fact?
