You wonder why Denver gets the nice offensive talents, especially on defense.  What skilled player wants to play that style game once you get up by one goal?

Radio Bubbs

-Found a way

-Played the right way.  Blocked Shots, etc.

-Good response to bad start.

-Going to enjoy this then dial.

-They had a push in the third at the end of the day.

-We killed well at the end.

-One win and we are at the X.

"we need to learn not to do that"....Brad Berry

I don't see it happening. Maybe we need a remedial class

What can we say about this game?  Well played, in terms of puck management - no, more like a "B-" there.  Well, played, defensively - I would give that an A-, and that seems to be where the chips lay for this team.  Not making glaring mistakes on D is what this season has been all about.

There was nothing positive about that period for UND.

That was Central against Bottineau.

I can think of one. They didn't cough up the lead. They won. It wasn't pretty but they didn't lose.

You don’t get half a million a year to bring that up in postgame interviews. You are supposed to get your players to play your system.  By how often this happens with a one goal lead in the third, I am led to believe, this is your system.

Wilkie is a massive boat anchor to Omac and Boisvert. So many pucks died on his stick tonight. Gotta replace him on that line tomorrow.

Team doesn’t have much confidence, which was extremely evident in the 3rd. How do you “let off the gas” when your season is basically on the line? If you’re saying that as a collective effort then isn’t that an admission of guilt if you’re the head coach?

I think the writing is on the wall for Berry.  He has shown this repeating pattern for his teams far too often.  Not good defensively, not good enough offensively, and the "hard skill" that he supposedly recruits to and preaches is just not evident on the ice.  It almost reminds me of the Miami "Band of brothers" at this point.

Moving on...assuming he's not injured, what's it going to take to get Cody Croal into the gd game tomorrow!  C'mon B-rad, he's one of your high motor guys...get him in there!
