Berry with TH:

-First period was good, 1st five of 2nd sucked.  3rd was good.

-Two similar teams.

-We let it get away.

-PK at the end cost us.

Missed the last part as my 4 year old decided to spill something.

Except Kunz's teammate had the puck and he ran obvious pick on the defender. It's okay to admit the UND player made a stupid decision. Not everything has to be a conspiracy.

I have no trouble admitting UND bone headed mistakes. It just didn’t look like a blatant interference to me. But my opinion doesn’t matter it’s the refs that does so it’s a moot point.

Did some good things but not nearly consistent enough. The blind turnovers into danger areas are absolutely maddening.

i remember Bump having the big senior year and state tournament and being mad we weren’t after him and trying to flip. Then when the Vermont thing happened and he entered portal and we didn’t make any effort because we were “full”. Sometimes in college athletics an opportunity presents itself where you need to make a tough decision and make room for a guy like Bump. I said the same thing when Slukynsky became available but Berry didn’t pursue. When Slukynsky, a potential 3-4 year starter is available from your backyard and instead of jumping on the good fortune you say nah we already got a guy who was really average at Arizona State you have to question if there is some kind of brain injury.

If I remember how things went down we were playing against the goalie who started us on the whole Portal Goalie Train.

Rowe was a verbal commit to UND.

He wanted opportunity to be the #1 guy his first year so he decommitted and went to Wisconsin. We had Scheel who was 39-8-3 his sophomore and junior years at UND.

Scheel unexpectedly turned pro  and Thome had already decided he didn't want to continue as backup for his senior season and he portaled to St. Thomas.

We brought in Driscoll and Hellsten and have been in the same portal pattern for 5 years now.

Hedquist had a good game.  Never looks 100% comfortable, but did his job.

Western better than UND.  They aren't great by any means, but they are better than what we have.

Our players are much better. I do like Bump and thought we should have taken him when he decommitted from Vermont….but we have way better players.

This is just an extremely mediocre team, they’re scaring nobody in the country right now.

Keagan was going to be his partner but for the most part this did lead to Scheel. Thome was not a #2 goalie more of a #3 and it showed at St. Thomas.

Left off DeRidder who was on such a bad Michigan State team I wouldn't have brought him in.

How much can you blame a coach when a player makes a bonehead play? Hard to blame Berry for our one penalty.

Who’s coached that playa for last 4 years to not make those decisions? Simple question

I do think Berry needs to hold some guys like McLaughlin accountable for all the back pass turnovers or blue line dangling he continues to make game after game.  Perron has the same issues.  If we have to cheat that much to try and get offense, it wouldn’t bode well for us, even if we did get to a one and done tournament.  Need to turn that around soon.

But I thought Grand Forks boys were such great players.

We looked awful. How many pucks did they throw away. Skill level is not there. Hobie very mediocre. Every time they give him a chance he doesn’t seize it. Back to TJ now. Very average team.

We pulled his offer after he attended an OHL camp.

Hobie has earned the net tomorrow too

Not completely sure on that...I think you need to keep him there, because we need to know what we have going into 25-26 season, but,  one, if not 2 of those goals are on Hobie..gotta make the saves you are supposed to.

The locker room  vibe has a direct reflection to what the on ice product.

It all starts at the top with the HC. You can’t expect 100% buy in delivering the same narrative and getting mediocre results.

Having four players wearing letters and all having little to no impact, game after game,  makes it very tough for others to follow them to battle.

Attitude reflects leadership…….

This game has zero chance of going to OT if TJ played IMO

It was a text book interference...not even a hard call at all
