Do you really think Berry will sit anyone. Lol

No chance. He should sit though. We need Berry gone.

Wow.  What a turn.
Horrible start to the 3rd with Jammer's stupid penalty costing the team 2 goals.

Then Berg ties it with EAG.

Then Hobie with that amazing save on that redirect.

Then Sacha walks in and ends it.

Wow.

We really needed a sweep this weekend. It could have been a lot worse than it was…and it should have been. That penalty was a bone head move. Really cost us.

ASU hockey sweeps No. 1 Denver ...

Powers looks a little like actor Ben Foster (Hustle).  It was bugging me all night.

They took some unnecessary penalties, but overall they look like a well coached team to me.

The conference is important and all but I think the ncaa tournament is more important

Ideally we want the home games to help get some wins at the end of the year

I didn't realize how old ASU is.  They have a pile of SR/GR students.
They have 9 players that have double digit points...of those 9, 7 of them will run out of eligibility at the end of this season.
Add Pavicich, their goalie from tonight on that list too.

They're gonna have a ton of their higher skilled players to replace for next year.

We're the opposite of that.  UND also has 9 players with double digit points.
Only 2 of them (Schmaltz & Berg) will run out of eligibility after this year.

What about 27?

At the end of the day UND left Mullett with 2 of 6 points.

At the end of the day UND salvaged 2 points when they were dead in the water.

At the end of the day UND seems to start every game down a goal due goaltending.

At the end of the day UND is still outside looking in due the Pairwise situation.

One guy that I thought flew under the radar and really had a good weekend when few did....Littler.

He hasn't hit double digit points yet this season, so he wasn't included.

He does, however, lead the team in PIM now, so he has that going for him.

The PWR hole is the biggest problem right now.

Not enough data to be of use currently.

We sweep at home and split on the road the rest of the way and we are around #8 in pairwise.

That might be a big ask....Sweep CC, UMD, and Omaha at home, split all road series and WMU at home and we are around 12.

The only relevant stat in pairwise currently is the team by team comparison. Many of the comparisons we are losing is due to RPI. Many of the RPI ratings will flip naturally based on who we play the rest of the year and who teams not from the NCHC play the rest of the year.

UND just needs to handle their schedule the rest of the season and if they don't then it is on us.
