I'm thinking will still be in the 10-12 place range when actual poll comes out. The loss to USD sucks but everything is still rt there for us. Just win and it will all work out.

Probably about right.  Hell of a lot harder to move up than it is to drop when you start the season outside the polls

IMO, only shot at top 8 is to win last 3 games.  Has a 4 lost team over gotten a 1st round bye?  A win vs NDSU would move them up, but a home loss to SDSU would move them back.

This USD loss went from giving hope of a deep playoff run, to hope of a first round win to build momentum for next year.

Win out and hope for favorable Quarter Round match up.

If we only beat SDSU but lose to NDSU, think it depends how close that loss is. If its a tight game vs SU and then we beat SDSU I dont see how they could put SDSU ahead of us. I think we'd be top 8, but ya anything is possible. 

SDSU is getting the benefit right now of their name and recent success, and possibly leniency due to QB being out. 

When is their starting QB expected back? If he is back by the time we play him they will be a better team then thwt have been in ghe last couple of weeks.
