Enough failure.  Let's get this over with and bring in someone who can ACTUALLY build on the program's great history.

DU = NDSU Football.

DU since 2004....first new head coach hire since new Ralph was build:

5 National Championships....UND 1

Our rivals been kicking our ass for multiple decades across lotta sports!

But I've been told it's all about "lucky bounces" and the single elimination format. (sarcasm) :silly:

I have two versions I keep handy....one is just straight up wins.  The other awards more points for wins further into the tourney:

Those are "A" programs who keep building even after coaching changes.

Which UND for whatever reason does not have.

Current DU head coach: been there for 5 "NCAA tournament years"....

Who's currently 35 Years old....has already had....

3 Frozen Four appearances.

2 National Championships.

That's my grade "A" and a "program builder"...

...just like (it seems) every NDSU Football coach who they hire. :(

It’s going to take a while to build this back up.

Blais took over in 1994 and took us from 11 wins to #6 in 3 years. If you hire the right person, it can happen quickly.

OK you rate him an A.

I reserve that type for guys who win more than one Frozen Four game in game in 11 Years (and never winning a FF game after year one) but that's just me.

Theres no hypotheticals in these scenarios. We have 11 years of actual Hakstol data to show what he can do as UND head coach. He literally never "built the program to higher grounds (in peak data points)."

Follow me for more as we talk more about the "mean, median, and mode" for those who fell asleep through statistics class.

Sorry, never did well in stats.;)

Sportsmanship

Wow, such anger being displayed. Where is the sportsmanship? In the grand scheme of life hockey is a sport, a athletic game and with regards to UND a game played by young men who are college students, athletes who are hockey players. I love UND hockey and cherish the great history and all the titles too. I understand the venting that these forums are for but in my opinion this topic is useless. Berry will not be coach someday and und hockey is not going away. Im disappointed in tonight's loss, but I'm going to show sportsmanship and continue to support the program without all the negativity!

Schloss just tweeted 31 wins if you went by xG

How?  It sure seemed like they were outshot in 90% of their games.

It was a joke but I'm sure something like this will be coming from him in his post season write up to put whipped cream on this steaming pile.

What’s baffling to me were all the slow starts in Friday night games. My god, you prepared (supposedly) all week long for this and then you come out of the gates lethargic and disorganized. Unacceptable. Sadly, it came to be expected by me every weekend series. I pin that on the coaches just as much as the players, maybe more.

Hunwick made a save on Genoway with an open net...he was falling, completely out of position and the puck hit him in the ass

If you would have told me before the game that Dell would let in 1 goal, and the boys would hang 40 shots on Michigan, I would have left Xcel, flown to Vegas, and bet my life savings on the Sioux …

So in 31 games this season our expected goals for were greater than our expected goals against?  This is then about execution.  Falls on the shooters and the tendy's ability to score when they should score and stop the pucks they should stop.  That stat would say that the "systems" are working and resulting in the mathematical likelihood of winning, however this isnt math class, you gotta execute on the ice.

Funny how Scott Arniel didn’t bring Berry on as an assistant coach with Winnipeg after getting fired in his first stint in Columbus with Berry as assistant.  Seems like he made the right decision, as Winnipeg is flourishing while UND has fallen out of the top ten college programs.

I'm hoping KEM pulls B-Rad to UNLV to take that program to D1.

They have some serious issues right now, like not having enough money to pay the football coach his last 2-3 years of his contract and they still owe on the football stadium they don't play in.

I'd like to see them make the jump, but they have some things to take care of first.

And the Michigan goalie had divine intervention, played out of his a@#.  The Fighting Sioux beat Michigan by every statistic that game I believe!  But, guess what, Michigan scored twice, one being an empty netter and the Sioux lost.  That is hockey.

BUT, Berry does not play the players that give the Sioux the best chance to win.  WHERE WAS CROAL, and THE LINEUPS, What?  He, along with the UND administration have made North Dakota Hockey just another college hockey program in college hockey.

if you don't live in ND, NDSU football is dogshit

No chippa ever thinks of NDSU or any other ND University? college?  whatever the !@#!$ secondary education programs go by.  Jamesotwn?  Mary? Minot?  90% of the country has never heard of them.

The only institution that was ever on the map from our state was UND hockey
