We are down 6-5 and pull the goalie and Schmaltz is on the ice. WTF? Blackheart Posted October 20 Share Posted October 20 Just got home from the game...I thought our effort, jump, zone time, etc. was way better than Friday. Lot's of chances to put the puck in the net, just didn't make it happen. Kato blocked a ton of shots and their goalie played well. All that being said, how the f*ck do you fail to score a single goal? In the first period we had the puck in their end for what felt like about ten minutes but no goal. They get the puck and come down and bang they score. Hedquist was solid but I've never seen a Sioux team win when scoring zero. Under Berry that is not a given. Under Berry if they don’t lose in the first round of the playoffs it’s because they didn’t qualify for the playoffs.
