Yep for sure. Especially with the game they played just one day prior. If they can play two strong games against UMD, then maybe we’re on something.

Remember a couple seasons ago when we lost our entire D-corps?

I feel like next season will be like that but with forwards and goalies instead. Maybe not ALL of them, but the roster is gonna look way different next fall. For better or worse. 

Hopefully we can land a couple legit studs from CHL & portal as they’ll get a lot of playing time.

Yes and no. If we are going for an at large bid, We don’t want Kato and Cornell to do TOO well because they are on the bubble and we want them to stay just barely on the outside looking in (like 15-19). If one of them ends up safely in the field but another team from their conference wins the auto bid, that makes it tighter for us to get in.
 

And obviously we want all the other bubble teams to fail miserably the next few weeks (unlikely for Quinnipiac since they always progress toward the end of the year, what a concept).

So Mankato & Bemidji play each other in their final regular season series. Maybe someone can run the scenarios about who UND would want to win that match-up. Am guessing Bemidji Ws favor UND more, because Mankato Ws would make it more difficult for UND to squeeze in at 13.

And maybe someone could calculate how far DU would drop with a Miami win.

In one of the Friday night broadcast pieces they did a segment on 27. BB called him an "everydayer". You could take that a couple different ways.

27, was picked by the fellas to be captain.  I believe he was the darling of SS.com and other online groups as well as fans until a scandalous bye weekend.

A Bemidji sweep of the Mavs would remove one factor for Mankato in the head to head comparison which would then come down to how much Mankato's RPI drops and how much ours rises. Our RPI should pass UNH by seasons end unless they start winning again. We can flip the head to head comparison vs. ASU but not sure we can flip RPI which is what they use to break ties. Unfortunately our non conference and our conference mates non conference performance this year will make it difficult to flip RPI against big 10 and Hockey east teams.

Head Coach can spin it any way he wants, the players did not pick 27 to be captain. You can take that to the bank.

27 has had off ice issues with becoming “friendly” with others, whom he should not have been friendly with, since he arrived on campus.

No more portal kids please.  Build through recruiting and if next year is a down year because of rebuilding so be it if that is what it takes to get back on top.

Enough of the calling for sources.  This isn't a news network forum it is a fan forum.  Some people on this forum know players or those familiar with the program on a casual basis or sometimes more than a casual basis.  Sometimes they hear things/rumors/rumblings that are based on fact or sometimes not fact based but feeling based and they share some of that info on a fan forum.  They don't need to disclose who they got the info from.  Whether that info comes to fruition or not isn't going to change anyone's life on here.

I’m ok with a few portal guys if they fit a need and we can get them for more than a year. Guys like Berg, Zmolek, etc. No more one year fill-in’s…I’d much rather a recruit in that scenario.
