stoneySIOUX Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Move on, get the win, and beat the Red Cows because frankly, UND is the better team. Persson, with the rust shaken off, gets back to his early-season form, the D settles down, and the forwards continue to rip as they have the past three games, and UND walks 6-1 Berg, Blake, Gaber, Jammer, Johannes x2 2 Quote
Wilbur Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 I don't care if it's 7-1 or 1-0. Please let me watch a game and feel okay about our d zone afterwards. 2 1 Quote

That's what I was hoping for after the Friday night CC game. Didn't really happen though. They need to start getting some wins in NCHC play if they want a shot at the league title. 1 Quote
burd Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 This team has some ice time under its belt, but it plays young. Which is usually fun and exciting. But they also need to learn to play a little older. Earn the right to think the whole ice belongs to you and nobody else. And play a full 60. And keep your feet moving. And play one shift at a time. . . . . Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 On a side note...how can meteorologists with all the technology today not be able to forecast anything accurately within 24-48 hours. #bebetterJohnWheeler 1 Quote

There’s a blizzard outside? Like, right now? The computer disagrees.” Quote

Oldguy Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Complete reshuffle on defense. Maybe not the best idea with your backup goalie in as well. Could be an "interesting" game. Quote

siouxforce19 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Considering our goalie had a .792 save percentage last night, I also am not surprised about the change. Quote

Would like to see Ness getting more ice than the usual extra skater because he brings more to the table than what his ice time shows. Plays 200 feet really well and knows when to push the offensive side. Sorry to say it but he’s a better all-around player than Albrecht, and I’m in no way trashing Albrecht. Ness just has a more rounded game. 1 1 Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 This team needs to decide whether they want to be elite or merely good. Losing to an unranked team at home does not scream "elite". We have two months until the playoffs. We better figure it out before then. Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Schmaltz's year in review coaches talk isn't going to be pretty. Portal/Coast/overseas may be in the cards for next season. It's not like he's not trying, it's just not going his way. Get the monkey off the back tonight and go from there. Quote

Blackheart Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Find a way to get a regulation W tonight and go from there…c’mon boys, you’re playing at home for Chrissakes! 1 1 Quote

Exactly what I was thinking. We have some tough conference games coming up. We cannot leave league points on the table at home. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 With no travel advised in the RRV my (snow) boots on the ground said lots of empty seats right now...half full. @brianvf can you confirm from 110? Quote
