Things can get personal in negotiations. In the end many times both parties regret their actions. I can see your point about public airing of differences. It was in bad form. He brought some good things early on followed with a bubba like last couple years. Definitely an upgrade from Rudy however. The great thing for Danny is now he will be surrounded by competent personal that give a damn about football and how to win. He has a passion for football and sdsu has a passion for football. Great combination. I would have to think Danny’s thought was he’s “stuck” here. I am pretty sure he thinks the same as us naysayers see it. Blah, old school and frustrating. No way a guy leaves that has bled Kelly green for as long as he has to take a lesser job at the same level. Money is king for everyone buying pretty sure he was sick of bubba ball. I have been for 6 years. Bland and boring. If Bubba truly loves this university and FB team as much as he claims to…he would have stepped aside last year and let Danny have his shot. Instead….UND is stuck with oh gosh oh golly blah master. Bubba has had this train on derail mode for half a decade. Bubba can’t coach! Period ! His record and stats cannot lie. He knows how to stop a veer offense. Whoopie. The FCS is a very weak league. Outside the top 10ish the rest are really D2 material. With the ever changing college athletics bubba is a lost soul.
