Which means they'll be very young next year.

Yep. Western is a team that will cycle from being average to good/very good every four years. They don't often have high enders right away, but have great coaching that develops them into studs in four years

Age. Loaded with vets.

So what’s St Cloud’s excuse for being so average this year?  Frozen Four hangover?

Even with their problems this calendar year, I wouldn't be surprised to see SC or UMD win a few tourney games to get to the Frozen Four. SC can be explosive, and we should have all learned by now to not count out UMD.

How did western Michigan get to be so good?

They recruit for low flight risk. Often means average talent with growth potential. Works sometimes, but not always. Duluth tends to do the same.

Wait a minute.   If Sandy recruits grindaz, why are we gonna fire Berry for recruiting grindaz?

Today was the first I heard of this. I'm surprised it hasn't circulated sooner. Unless it had, bc I sometimes live under a rock.

First I've heard as well.

If his brother Timmy ends up taking a penalty, the student section should be ready for him.

Let’s not hold his brother responsible for his actions.  Don’t know that it is something to tease someone about, especially if he turned out to be innocent.  Would guess there is some information that would lead the coaches and University to suspend him though.  Hate to see hockey tarnished with these type of crimes.  Would guess that Mitchell Miller would have been a bigger distraction because of his past.  You hope to recruit character guys, but you never truly know what type of individual you have, and to think he was their captain.

I mean he was arrested for rape so pretty sure there’s at least some evidence of his guilt…

Saw a week or so ago his coach said he was suspended indefinitely for disciplinary reasons.

He has been suspended since January. No one knew why until today. Figured it had to be pretty bad…

There’s also this circulating from who appears to be a soccer player at Western Michigan. Not great.

If you look up Joi Labadie's twitter account, there are more details on this under the Tweets & Replies header.

I mean some light penalty box harassment, nothing beyond a few words or a sign. Although the latter would need to be in good taste.

No one should be held responsible or shamed for something their brother, sister or cousin has done. Very poor taste!

It seems like every time that UND has played on CBS, Akron and Ohio are playing MBB against each other.

Watch them drag out the last minute.

...and yes, this is the longest last minute ever. At this rate, we'll be lucky to see Shireen's first intermission interview.
