Is it me or did it look like Gabinet was chirping the Refs about that interference call? That was a text book definition of the D man committing an interference on a forward if you ask me.

Yeah, I think the f bomb or two was meant for the official.

That guy really has it in for UND. What’s his deal?

Don’t be too hard on Gabinet...he just recently found out what a loser he is.

Got better as the game went on.

Pretty good job defensively getting sticks in lanes and creating a lot of deflections.

The skill of this D group is so high level and I think they seem to be getting more aggressive and confident as we go here.

Scheel is really locked in right now, playing so confident.

Would really like to see the powerplay start to get going a little bit, maybe simplify things some.

It's not a rivalry

I keep hearing about this rivalry.
Let me tell you about rivalry.
UMN, DU, UW, UMD, St. Cloud, BC/BU, Bemidji/Mankato and then maybe UNO.

You can quote me on that RecoveringOps.

Nice take...love our D effort.

Including from the forwards.  Omaha had a few rushes that looked dangerous until a backchecking forward stole it and headed the other way.

Only 11 shots on net for Omaha periods two and three.  Scheel was really good at times to keep Omaha at bay.

Football-Hockey-Penrose Cup Saturday!!!!

For all of you hockey savants:

Rule 40.3

A player shall not shoot the puck away from an official after the whistle has blown.

PENALTY—Misconduct.

Cool story. Guess officials didn’t think there was any penalties. I don’t see Mav fans flipping out over it either.

Ole made some very interesting and good points about Omaha’s d men and how they like to play vs how they were forced to play thanks to UND’s hard forecheck.

Slow starts aren’t a great recipe around tournament time. (See St. Cloud State giving major underdogs hope).  The type of shutdown they have shown after the slow starts and Scheel getting us through until then is a good recipe for success.  Hopefully they fix the slow starts and keep up the shutdown thereafter.

Actually, I was just asking the question and folks get all winky about it. It’s in the book, it was a question and y’all start talking trash.
