I hadn't seen it.

It doesn't make it less tragic, but her underlying conditions were listed as asthma and high blood pressure.  Morbidly obese could also be applied by anyone's definition.

Visited with an anesthesiology buddy a couple days ago. He said almost all of the COVID patients he's dealt with in ND were total train wrecks health wise even before they got COVID. COVID just pushed them off the cliff.

Didn't I say a while back I believe this virus is picking off the low hanging fruit (the elderly, the already sick).

The parents are insinuating in the article that Trinity Hospital in Minot was not prepared to take care of their daughter.  Tragic loss of life....yes but 17 obese with HTN and asthma but let's cast blame elsewhere.

But that's obviously not the case this young lady was only 17...……….right???

This is the leader of Michigan marauders (click on photo to enlarge) who planned ill for the governor there.
It's the same fellow I posted before, but now you get a clearer view of his wall decor.

Help me out, that's not a swastika, not a Confederate battle flag, but the symbol used by anarchists, no?

Might be Hayduke1 in the flesh.  He was confused and thought the gov. of Michigan was a Trump supporter.

Trinity is an easy target, but they probably treated her just as any other hospital would have at the time.

Looking at and reading about this girl, she obviously had health issues.  But without COVID, she probably had 20 years ahead of her.  Sad situation.

Yep, chalk another one up in the column that Trump killed.  Some people won't lift a finger (or literally won't lift anything) when it comes to taking care of their health but then expect everyone else to do it for them.

It is sad but it is also an educational moment to.

You realistically believe it will stop at ‘state rights’?  Overturning Roe is step 1.   The far-right, religious right, and booming Hispanic population will have considerable pull in advocating for and backing the inevitable GOP push for a federal ban on abortion if Roe is overturned.  .

If a person believes abortion is murder, this is the only moral conclusion.

Pretty damn convenient that this comes out right before the election and then Whitmer comes out and blames Trumps support of White supremacy. Do we even know if this so called “militia” Are white supremacists? Oh wait I forgot all republicans or people who support Trump are racist...... There are a ton of normal people that are pissed about the governors lock downs but I guess they are all racist and part of far right groups. What a joke this media is for letting those accusations fly.

CNN then brings on John Brennan to talk about this and about the feds investigating him. The seat must be getting hot for Brennan on this Durham investigation.

These nutjobs are anarchists who also hate Trump and any Government authority....but media gonna media.

I'm confused, is this article about Covid?  I thought the discussion was about a ND teen?

I was making the point that young people die from a lot of different things when they have underlying conditions. This is an article about a teen tragically dying from influenza.

It does in states that have or would have full bans on abortion.

Quit law school.  No hope for you to pass a bar exam.

So states would be allowed to decide....like I already said. Not my fault you didn't understand what Roe v. Wade did.

Steve Schmidt is my hero:

Donald Trump tried to go after former McCain Campaign Strategist Steve Schmidt, the head of The Lincoln Project, on Twitter. Schmidt didn't hold anything back in his reply:

“You’ve never beaten me at anything. This is our first dance. Did you like, Covita? We are so much better at this than your team of crooks, wife beaters, degenerates, weirdos and losers.

Steve Schmidt is a broke guy who is upset no Republicans will hire him anymore because he is bad at his job but found out if he complains about the people who won't hire him anymore, Democrats will donate money to him.

If thats your hero, that says a lot more about you than you might understand.

He's not some enlightened or born-again dude, he's just a guy who realizes his political consulting career is over so now he is becoming a grifter.

All this enthused Joe Biden, who threw subtlety to the winds. The former United States Senator (for 26 years) and Vice President (for eight) has not once, not twice, but thrice confidently asserted that the military will “escort [Trump] from the White House with great dispatch” should the president refuse to leave. Another former Vice President, Al Gore, publicly agreed.

One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election.

There's a storyline that emerged this past summer. The Coming Coup. Before you dismiss it, the Washington Post already ran a story like this as well.

I can’t imagine what your reaction would be if one of these people broke state regulations and didn’t wear a mask in a hair saloon.

Point out where he said he cured himself? I saw a quote where he said the medical community has a much better understanding of Covid and people shouldn’t live in fear of it, which isn’t really wrong but goes against what the democrats and media would like anyone to believe.
