All small business owners in downtown Portland live in ivory towers? Huh, news to me. Plenty of people won’t step foot in Portland because of the nightly protests. This is likely compounding small (and large) business throughout the city but it’s only affecting the rich narrative seems to work well for D’s. Is it the idea that once most any town grows big enough, there will be enough sh*theads part of that growth for them to reach critical mass and implode the town? Lots of frustrated people that tell others back home they are "living the dream". I could get twice as much home in Minneapolis with wages being similar, possibly better in MSP. Edit: I didn't really answer the liberal slide. My belief is the more people you have in an area, the more organization you need. Would the answer be to just stay in our caves until it eventually finds us? Or is it to live life to the fullest we can and have faith in science, evolution, God or whatever that humanity will adapt?
