BTW Sportscenter #3 was the NFL Titan QB escaping 2 man tackle and tossing a huge gainer.

#1 was an uncontested 3 point shot after defender was faked out...… sad sad sad.  #3 or #2 were way better.

It ended up the #3 play after that lame 3 pointer and the missed sack.

Or a monster dunk immediately followed by woofing at an opponent...with your team down by 25.

Spicy Pie not too shabby.  50% off your pizza the day after a hockey team win, too.

Me:  Hey, the sign says 50% off a pizza the day after a Hawks hockey win!

Pizza Guy:  Yea, so tomorrow it’s 50% off.

Me:  They won last night too.

Pizza Guy:  Oh yea.

How do you get away from an NDSU grad?

Pay him for the pizza. ;)

Anyone see a better video of the 2000 Championship team on ice celebration than the 20 seconds on NCHC-TV?

Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Disappointed - and surprised - that Dean Blais wasn’t in attendance.

I had a chance to chat with Paul Murphy, Peter Armbrust, Lee Goren, Brad DeFauw, and Mike Commodore.  Fun group.  Thanks for the  memories, guys.

The one on Bowen looked more like a fluke hockey play than anything; I don't think there was any intent there.

It's funny, if someone predicted that we would win both games 5-2, I would have been fine with that.  But the way the games played out felt a lot closer than the score looks.  I'll be interested to see how they play against a more competitive team.

Personally, I never felt threatened on Saturday. UND absolutely controlled the game even when it got to 2-2. Friday was a bit less sure, but still pretty dang confident.

They've played plenty of great competition all year (2nd in SoS) and are 16-1-2. Two WINS against any team, regardless how bad they are, coming out of the break shouldn't worry us.

If it makes anyone feel better, the national title team beat a similarly poor UAH team in a couple 1 goal games, same time of year and everything. Time to get back to business next weekend bc UNO can put the puck in the net, however I don't believe they play defense from what I've seen.

Were we supposed to feel BAD?  I think it's easy to forget that Alabama-Huntsville also recruits D1 hockey talent.  It might not be up-to-snuff with North Dakota's talent, but it's D1 talent nonetheless.

They were rusty after the layoff. The opponent was not the caliber they see in the NCHC, so I think it might have been hard for them to get up for the games. Once they get back into the routine of practice and playing games every weekend, they will be fine.

so, if the rafters get fuller this spring, will UAH be a must play?

Still deciding what's better:

- the first career goal by Ethan Frisch
- his on-ice reaction
- reading his lips on the bench :D

Good stuff.  That's the kind of thing that makes the college game so good.   They may be thinking it will be their career, but it's not just a job yet.

It seemed like some people were a little worried that the games were close, I was merely providing context.

There was never a doubt...even after the UAH goal scored .6 seconds into Friday night's game...
