Does anyone with any connections know if Berry "gets it" at all?  It is so hard to judge from the coachspeak and softballs from Schlossman and Hennesy.  At some point he needs to concede that big changes are needed.  If he can't see that then all may be lost until he leaves.

I would like to know that as well, it’s the the emperors new clothes, you look wonderful, every thing is cool. But if you judge him by his lines ups he does not get it at all.

I'm not a big know-it-all, coach, owner or analytical specialist with regards to Berry etc., BUT,  :whistling: in my feeble mind of observations........

When I heard last years stats of how many line change ups he did week after week after week over the year, it seemed mind boggling.  I did some poking around other teams and it seemed there was much more consistency with how a coach set his lines, and on occasion, tweaked them.  It seemed Berry could never find 3 forwards that can play together on one line that are a fit, match, jell etc.

I know there are injuries etc., but this statistic was interesting.

UND has scored 2 goals or less 19 times this season in 36 games played.

You’re asking a lot of your goalie when you can’t score goals. Basically, pitch a shut out or give up only 1 goal in order for us to have a chance at winning.

No Johnson or Yon? Not a chance he won’t have at least one of them in the lineup.

To siouxeleven’s point about desired line pairings, Berry mentioned something in the post game last night that he would be splitting up Jones and Gardner.

Man, tough to watch them last night. I do not question their effort, they definitely try hard and rather than pack it in after the second goal, they continued to play hard but they just cannot find any creativity in the offensive zone.

Giving up only one goal yesterday was still one goal too many.

Frustrating part to me is that you look at this team and they can and have beaten the best, while losing to the worst. There is hope, but at the same time, it's hard to maintain it. If UND can score more then 2 goals in a game, they are very hard to beat. Now if is the real question. I say they win tonight, and lose tomorrow night. Hope I'm wrong on the latter half, but trying to be realistic.

Yup, he gets it.  Puts it all on a long nearing 2 seasons streak of bad puck luck and running into hot goalies.
