crb1 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 51 shots on goal to 8 and the game is tied at 2. Not good. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Bonus hockey....... exhibition style. SOG 50-8 Bison goalie on his 3 sweater as the crest got worn out on the first two. Quote
sioux rube Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 1 for 9 in the powerplay says it all 2 Quote
willythekid Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 imagine how many shots on goal UND would have if 2/3 of their shots weren't two feet wide... Quote

crb1 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Gardner has not learned from last year. Still taking bad penalties. 3 so far tonight. 1 Quote

Feff Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Also continuing the trend from last year blowing 2 goal leads. Looks like this team hasn't learned anything. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 PP goal 3-2 Hawks in OT SOG 55-9 Quote
crb1 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Gardner with the GWG. Boys need to practice shooting on the net. Quote
Fetch Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Great puck control Terrible shooting They are going to get better Quote
Feff Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I've figured out the UND PP, pass around the outside, take an outside shot and then hope for a rebound. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Star of the game is that Manitoba goalie. Dude needs to have jersey replaced. 4 Quote

burd Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Lots of time and space with this Manitoba team, so that's a little misleading, but the boys seem to have real good stick work. Quote
Wilbur Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 The story of this group was on display tonight. Plenty of depth, but who other than Jones will finish their chances? Bob gets the W....and probably a puck bunny later tonight! Quote
SiouxScore Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Definitely felt like an exhibition very little intensity or emotion from either team Powerplay has to be better than it was tonight Mismash looked a step quicker and I think he will have a big year. Poolman looked a little more aggressive offensively and I think he will have a big year. Thought Hain had the best game of the newcomers and really liked him with Yon and Bowen JBD is such a smooth player just seems like the game is in slow motion for him Thome and Scheel both looked good standing in the crease and moving around not sure either actually faced a legit shot It is for real next week every play will be magnified and could make the difference in the game. Quote
crb1 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Guch was pretty invisible tonight. He needs to have a breakout year. Quote

Agree about Hain. He and Bowen together could be a great combo. Quote
tnt Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Probably a good thing they didn’t win 7-1, as many that are judging the game by the score would be talking National Championship already. 1 Quote
