Pretty sure it is the OC's call. Completely understand why they gave Simon extra reps against Idaho State. Hopefully we get to see how they handle a multi-score lead tomorrow. 4
geaux_sioux
Indiana St is the only other clear chance to get reps for backups. Shouldn’t wait til November for that. Shoulda seen plenty against ISUo and SD.
UND-FB-FAN
You can’t make this stuff up … back-up quarterback remaining the most popular player on a team, once again.
ChadR
Dumb question. Haven't followed UND football closely with former players. Do we have any former players on an active NFL roster?

While you aren’t generally wrong.. I think most reasonable people are just wanting to see the backup qb get some minutes in a game. Particularly a game we have a reasonable lead in. Seems dumb and shortsighted to not want to get your backup (at any position much less an important position like qb) some game minutes outside of a kneel down. there is a different group that always wants to replace our current qb regardless of current record. I thought miller had some interesting perspective in the 360 podcast about romfos struggles passing this year versus fall camp. Related it to a short guy against fall camp pass rush versus an actual game pass rush. overall my comments in this specific thread were intended to be more complimentary of Tommy. Happy to see him at Michigan state and playing well in his opportunities.

Siouxperman8
just hoping there is enough of a spread to be able to play Jerry. It isn't a given.

Happy to see him at Michigan state and playing well in his opportunities. I'm sure his height could be an issue but some of the throws he's missed badly on are in the flat with a clear line of sight. Being shorter shouldn't impact that. I've said this before on here but I think speed of the game is part of the issue too. Hopefully that will take care of itself as he gets more used to it.

Funny enough. Schuster might be the most popular QB at Michigan State. Funny how that works.

Would have been amazing to watch them on this offense. Although our current RB's are very good and fun to watch. forksandspoons
Brady O still leading the CFL in rushing and could go two years in a row with the most rushing yards in the league. He also has 48 catches for 424 yards receiving. Evan Holm 9th in tackles with 75.

Popular Post Goon
This year, I attended two Blue Bomber games in Winnipeg. It was a blast. Evan Holm and Brady Oliveira played a big part in the games that I watched. This last weekend, I watched them win the Western Conference Finals 38-22 over the Sask Rough Riders and will be playing in the Grey Cup. 1
petey23
Good Luck to Brady Oliviera, the 2023 and 2024 Most Outstanding Canadian Player in the CFL and 2024 Most Outstanding Player in the CFL(argueably should have won it in 2023 as well) and Evan Holm as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers try and capture the Grey Cup today!
