If they shocked UC Davis next week.....that would certainly help, at least play them close.....since we don't play UC Davis. They also play Montana State who we don't play....might as well have them win to help us out.

Sioux95
Dang. Washington and ISU both lose in OT to ranked teams after missing easy field goals to win it.
SiouxVolley
This weekend Idaho St faces another FBS school, Liberty, which is 3-3 and has beaten Troy, UNM and ODU. If ISU wins, the pollsters should give them a lot of credit and make UND’s loss more of a quality one.
CMSioux
In 2015 the pollsters and NCAA decision makers continually moved the bar based on who they wanted in. The combination of bias and laziness is not going away. In an unbias world 7-4 with 2 wins over ranked teams should be enough, but it won't be for UND, it will be for someone else because the bar will be strategically moved as needed.

They've already done it in 2018. The rhetoric was that UND didn't have Montana (or EWU) on their schedule. This year, now that UND has beat Montana, Montana is suddenly a bad team even though they are likely the same or slightly better than they were in 2016. 1
Sioux95
EWU, UCD, Weber are all likely playoff teams. The powers that be are going to have to be stategic and only rank ISU or UND highly, not both unless they absolutely have to. 5 teams in the playoffs from the big sky is a hard sell based on performance the past few years.
